take, eat

i continue my thought-mining into the concept of whether or not trees have souls.  the current trace i’ve been following concerns that, if trees are plants, and trees have souls, then plants have souls.  if this is true, then i wonder what vegetarians and vegans would prefer to eat.  prince fielder of the milwaukee brewers will not eat meat.  he has gone so far to proclaim he will not eat something with a face.  trees and plants have faces, perhaps.  there are buds and blossoms and reproductive devices and forms of mobility and taking in and digesting food and breathing and such.   makes me wonder about how best to live, symbiotically, with the natural world.  i also wonder if a building made from steel is really unnatural.
